Reversible Multipurpose ACL700 Slam Latch

The ACL700 is a multipurpose accessible slam latch. It has been designed to suit a variety of applications where a standard mortice lockset would not be suitable or practical such as portable toilets & washrooms, modular cubicles, temporary installations, wheelchair access gates and accessible storage cupboards. ​

The ACL700 latch is fully reversible to suit left or right-handed doors, opening in or out.

The latch is opened from the outside by any accessible key and from the inside by an oversized high-visibility slide button.

Note: If used on toilet or washroom doors an additional privacy bolt should be fitted. Each latch is supplied with:

• 2 striker plates ( 1 x surface mounted and 1 x mortice fitted)
• high visibility escutcheon
• an installation key
• an ‘Accessible key only’ advisory plate
• left and right open labels
• all fixing screws and fitting instructions.
