Sliding 3 Lever Mortice Clawbolt

The Union 2477 3 lever mortice deadlock is designed to be used on sliding, internal wooden doors. It is high quality and reliable.

In line with a number of other mortice locks, these locks feature a grey lock case but they have unique measurements that identify them from other mortice locks. Please refer to the line drawing for details.

This mortice lock is available in either polished brass or satin chrome finishes in bags or in clam packs for retail display.

The 3 lever range from Union includes a deadlock, sash lock, sliding door lock and bathroom lock to provide a complete, interior door solution.

The claw bolt throws 12.5mm. If higher security is required, try the 5 lever 2401 sliding door lock.

These locks feature an expanding claw bolt. This operates in a similar way to a deadbolt, but once thrown, claws are activated which lock into the strike. This prevents the door from being slid open.

The claw bolt can be locked and unlocked from either side by use of the key.

This lock is supplied with a striking plate in a finish which matches the lock.

Suitable for use on most internal, sliding, wooden doors. These locks are not handed.

Supplied with 2 steel keys as standard. We can cut additional keys for this lock, just select whether you’d prefer genuine or copy key blanks and the quantity required from the associated products on this page.

Should you require more than one lock to work on the same set of keys, these locks can be keyed alike by our inhouse locksmith team. We can typically dispatch the same day (larger quantities may require longer).

They can be crossed keyed alike with other locks from the Union family including the 2177, 2077, 21577 and 2477.
