Rebated 2 Lever Mortice Sashlock

This Union 2242 2 lever mortice sash lock features a rebated forend and strike, so it can be used on a pair of internal wooden French doors.

The rebate depth on this lock is 13mm.

In line with a number of other mortice locks, these locks feature a black lock case but they have unique measurements that identify them from other mortice locks. Please refer to the line drawing for details.

This mortice lock is available in either electro brass or silver enamel finishes in boxes.

The deadbolt throws 12.5mm. If additional protection is required against attack by sawing, we’d recommend a 5 lever version with attack prevention features.

The deadbolt can be locked and unlocked from either side by use of the key. The latch is withdrawn from either side by moving the handle

This lock is supplied with a striking box in a finish which matches the lock.

Suitable for use on most internal wooden doors. These locks are not handed and can be used on doors hinged on the left or right, which open inwards or outwards.

Supplied with 2 steel keys as standard. Extra keys are available on pre-cut codes M21H-M40H.

These locks cannot be keyed alike.
