Easi-T BS3621:2017 British Standard Mortice Deadlock

The Eurospec Easi-T mortice dead lock is extremely popular and has been fitted to new build homes by national house builders for decades. These locks meet the requirements of British Standard BS3621:2007 and they are accredited by Secured By Design. Part of the Police Crime Prevention Initiatives, Secured By Design plays an important role in helping stop crime, with only accredited products able to use its logo and title ‘Police Preferred Specification’. To meet these needs, products undergo rigorous testing. Featuring 5 levers, anti drill and anti saw features, these are a high quality and high security mortice lock.

In line with a number of other mortice locks, these Eurospec BS3621 locks feature a grey lock case but they are heavily branded making them easy to identify. Look out for the “E*S” logo on the faceplate as well as the “Easi-T” logo. They also have unique measurements that identify them from other mortice locks. Easi-T refers to the way that the latch on the sash lock can be quickly rotated without the need to undo the case.

This E*S BS3621 mortice lock is available in polished brass or satin stainless steel colours.

To meet the requirements of British Standard BS3621, the deadbolt throws at least 20mm from the body of the lock to ensure positive deadlocking and additional resistance against attack. The deadbolt also has anti saw features.

The deadbolt can be locked and unlocked from either side by use of the key.
